So that's seven rally events which repesent RCT's 14th Championship, a double-weekend desert raid in summer and topped off with the champions' race in December. Other meetings will be added along the way like last year when we held a 4-event 'Legends/Classics' championship and a 'Criterium' (everbody with the same model) championship. More to follow ...
And here's the SLOTBOX!! All you need (Well, all I need!) to start the new above-mentioned 2009 Championship at RCT Valles, my local slot club in Sabadell which is spitting distance from Barcelona in Spain. The contents are basically the BITS: the controller (45ohm Parma which needs renewing), the Magic Box (homemade device to control voltage, brakes and acceleration) and a whole heap of tools, tyres and what have you. And there's also (surprisingly) one or two CARS: two Ninco Subarus (for my Group N bid), an SCX Ford Escort (if we should organise a 'serious' parallel competition for classics), my Citroen DS 'toy-converted-to-slot' (for a non-serious classics!), a Ninco Pro Truck painted and decorated to look like something from the desert and, last but not least, the Lancia Stratos Buggy (made a while ago for a reason long since forgotten!) AND there's also a Megane Trophy in there plus some of my favourites: a Fly Racing Porsche 911, a Ninco 911, a Ninco Peugeot 307, a Power Slot Polo and an Exin Ferrari GTO - to name but a few.
