Wisconsin Paranormal Investigators (WPI) was founded in early Spring of 2007 by Jay and his wife Katie due to their love and passion of the paranormal.
"We were both so intrigued by the evidence we've seen gathered behind the unexplained, however some of the evidence viewed was questionable. We truly wanted to capture evidence for ourselves, thus our quest to Hunt the Truth was born."
WPI conducts investigations of paranormal activity in Wisconsin, Illinois & Beyond. We are always looking to talk to others in our area who shares our enthusiasm and interest in the paranormal. We conduct private investigations within someone's home or business upon request. All of our investigations are professionally conducted and we never ask for money or donations. We serve Wisconsin and Northern Illinois areas; however, we will travel further than these boundaries if needed. WPI does not investigate for personal wealth or fame, rather to debunk a haunting first and prove it second. "If in doubt - throw it out!"

STEP 1.
First Contact:
Contact us. Request an investigation here.
STEP 2.
Interview:
You will receive a reply from one of our team members within a few days. We will need to ask some questions. Please answer as honestly as possible, no matter how strange you think it may sound.
STEP 3.
Walkthrough:
If we determine that an investigation is needed, a walkthrough will be scheduled. Couple team members will come to the location to conduct an in-depth interview and preliminary observations. This is usually done within 5-7 days of first contact. A full investigation may then be scheduled.
STEP 4.
Investigation:
A team of investigators will visit the location. Extensive measurements and readings will be taken with digital voice recorders (DVRs); electromagnetic detector (EMF), digital thermal readers, motion detectors, and photographic & video equipment will be used. Though not an exact science, WPI believes in the scientific approach of paranormal investigating.
STEP 5.
Analyze:
Background research will be conducted. This may require information from you regarding the legal description of the property. This step may be conducted following the preliminary investigation.
STEP 6.
Reveal:
Results of the investigation will be compiled and a report will be issued to you. If there is any paranormal evidence (i.e. EVPs, Video and Photos) we will be happy to arrange DVD evidence copies to you.
