MOSES RATCLIFF

We have an ancestor, Moses Ratcliff who was baptized 8 November 1745 at Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.
He was the son of Moses Ratcliff and Maria Barber

Our Ratcliff family moved from Chesterfield, Derbyshire to Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
We found the following Settlement Certificate at the Nottinghamshire Archives and wondered if this was our Moses.

Transcript of a SETTLEMENT CERTIFICATE  dated 1788

I gather from this that Moses Ratcliff was legally settled in Chesterfield but wanted to live in Mansfield.

All the children named in the Settlement Certificate were baptized at Elder Yard Presby, Chesterfield
and the parents are given as Moses and Ann (IGI Extracted) but his wife on the Settlement is Mary
(IGI submitted has them baptized at Tapton, Chesterfield also of Moses and Ann)

Sally Ratcliff 1773
Mary Ratcliff 1775
Moses Ratcliff 1777
Elizabeth Ratcliff 1779
Alice Ratcliff 1781

So, we assumed that maybe Ann died and Moses married Mary.

Moses Ratcliff married Ann Jarvas (or Jervas) 1767 at Chesterfield

Moses Ratcliff married Mary Heathcote 1772 at Chesterfield

But if this is the same Moses, then the children were baptized after Moses married Mary

A Mary Ratcliff died 1793 at Mansfield age 53
And a Moses married Ann Farrance  (or Frances) 29 May 1794 at Mansfield
At Radford St. Peter 19 Nov 1797 Moses Ratcliff = Grace Bennel (or Bennet)

Is this all the same Moses?  Can anyone throw any light on this?
If so, please contact me.
