We
have
an
ancestor,
Moses
Ratcliff
who
was
baptized
8
November
1745
at
Chesterfield,
Derbyshire,
England.
He
was
the
son
of Moses
Ratcliff
and Maria
Barber
Our
Ratcliff
family
moved
from
Chesterfield,
Derbyshire
to
Mansfield,
Nottinghamshire.
We
found
the
following
Settlement
Certificate
at
the
Nottinghamshire
Archives
and
wondered
if
this
was
our
Moses.
