A Loop through the lower Iron Curtain countries and a bit of the Balkans.

Hi! I'm Jeff.
Thanks for finding my journals. This one is about a trip I just made in May of 2000. I had a good friend fly over for two weeks, so we decided to do something "Completely Different", ala Monty Python (but sorry, no animals will blow up in the background). Our plan was to do a clockwise loop, starting in Germany. Prague, CZ was the first stop, then south into Slovenia. Hungary was next, with the return route taking us through Croatia and into Slovenia. From there it was just an easy ride back along the Alps and into Germany. We had eight days, and it was an absolute blast, so hang on. Hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions about traveling in that region, I'd be happy to help you out. I'll try to post a page with travel links and information at the end.
