1 can Goldrush Pale Rider Wheat Beer

500g Morgan’s Liquid Wheat Malt Extract

10g Elsasser Hop Pellets (Boiling)

1 Pkt Goldrush Dry Yeast from the kit

500g Morgan’s Liquid Wheat Malt Extract

Weizenbier Wheat

1 can Brewiser Wheat Beer

250g Dried Corn Syrup

500g Dextrose

500g Caster Sugar

10g Saaz Hop Pellets (Boiling)

10g Saaz Hop Pellets (Finishing)

1 Pkt Brewiser Dry Yeast from the kit

Bottle Conditioning 4 weeks (min)

 

Dunkelweizen Wheat

A darker version of Weizenbier.

A chocolate maltiness with banana overtones that characterizes wheat beers.

1 can Morgan’s Golden Sheaf Wheat

1Kg Morgan’s Liquid Chocolate Malt Master Blend

250g Dried Corn Syrup

10g Saaz Hop Pellets (Boiling)

10g Hallertau Hop Pellets (Finishing)

1 Pkt Morgan’s Dry Yeast from the kit

Bottle Conditioning 4 weeks (min)

 

                          METHOD:

In a large pot add 4litres hot water, bring to the boil and add the boiling hops. Boil for 10 mins, and then add the finishing hops. Turn off the heat and add all the other ingredients stirring until totally dissolved. Pour this into your fermenter and top up with cold water to the 23 litre mark. Add the yeast when the wort has cooled.

 

 

Hoegaarden (Belgian White Beer)

Known as “Bieres Blanches” in French, the Belgian white wheat

beers are brewed using about 50% wheat and a combination of spices, typically, orange peel and coriander.

Hoegaarden,is a refreshing cloudy lemon coloured beer.

The sweet/sour and spicy taste and subtle hop bitterness and

aroma makes it distinctively different.

1 can Black Rock Whispering Wheat

1Kg Dry Wheat Malt Extract

15g coriander seeds (crushed)

2 tablespoons of orange peel (remove pith and use zest only)

Safale K-97 yeast.

Bottle Conditioning 6 weeks (min)

 

METHOD:

In a brew pot bring 2 litres of water to the boil, add malt, coriander and orange peel, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes then turn heat off. Add the can of Whispering wheat and stir until dissolved. Rest for 15 minutes and then strain into your fermenter.

Top up to 21 litres with cold water and when temperature is correct

Add the yeast and ferment out in the usual way.
