| THE ROBIN Today the robin sang to me, her song it was so sad; of longing and wanting, of better times not had. Her heart was bleeding out the tune, her voice the instrument. Did she know how it brought a sense of impending doom? How I longed to hold her and ease her burdened soul; But my hands would only harm her, how to help - I didn't know. So I could only listen as her song filled my pain; To fly with her away, from which I wish I could refrain. |
| FEELS LIKE HOME As the mist falls over the mountain tops, how I wish you were here. You would so love the scenery this perfect time of year. The woods are so peaceful, the sound of nature in my ear. The rays of sun coming through, I feel your presence ever near. How you would love this place, it feels so much like home; But without you something's missing my soul is free to roam. I hear you whisper in the trees, your touch upon the wind; I close my eyes and see you there, my heart begins to mend. I call your name to find you gone, as I reach out my hand. How I long to have you here, your home's within this land. |

| ONE SINGLE KISS It's not your touch, or the light in your eyes; It's not the gift of your love, that makes my heart cry. It's the tenderness of your lips, your breath embracing mine. The intimacy and the bliss, that is shared with one single kiss. Your smile can brighten any day, turning the dark clouds to blue. Your laughter can move mountains, exposing a ravishing view. Your provocative words, can seduce my mind. Your soft and gentle touch, can interrupt the flow of time. But the passion that is shared with the perception of a kiss; arousing my senses - that is what I miss. Whether minimal or prolonged, the warmth you will see, entices me to venture further, letting you invade me. With every perpetual stroke, the pleasure consumes. Leading to a colossal climax, letting our unity bloom. The tenderness of your lips, your breath embracing mine; The intimacy and the bliss that began with one single kiss. |
| NEVER EASY I know that life with me has never been very easy; I make things hard, I call you out, I get sentimental and cheesy. I make my point, I show each side; My anger and my love I cannot easily hide. But if you stand by me I will always be true, Giving you my all, The loyalty of so few. I speak my mind, I'm crazy and I'm loud, I'll make you sad, I'll even make you proud. You'll hate me and you'll love me. Sometimes I'll drive you mad; But when things are at there worst I'll be the best friend you ever had. |
