LAYOUT PHOTOS - 1970's and 80's - PART II
In construction view of Eagle Point and Stone Mountain with supports in place for wire screening prior to applying hydrocal.  This layout was built using the open grid method as shown in the photo.
Same location sometime later after most scenery has been applied.  CCW train crosses trestle on the return loop.  Note Bi-Centennial caboose scheme.  Painted by friend Steve Suhs.
Another photo of this location.  Refrigerator cars on the left at the fruit processing company siding.
My oldest son Rob views the scene at the Cedar Creek Yard.  He wears Dad's Monon engineer hat.  Photo date was December 1973.
This layout lasted until late 1985 when I decided to take it down and finish the basement room it was in and build a new layout which was started soon afterward.  See following pages for some views.
