This Generation
Being Transformed
Born again from above, by the Word of
God.
I
think when Christ is speaking of that generation, he was speaking of
the descendant of Adam. Not born again. Flesh and Blood will not
inherit the kingdom of God. In Adam all die, In Christ all live.
Mat
12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good
things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth
good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth
evil things.

in context it is Plain that
Jesus was speaking of the children of the serpent.)
Ezek
12:28 "Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the
Lord GOD, "None of My words will be delayed any
longer. Whatever word I speak will
be performed,"'" declares the Lord
GOD.

4:12 For the word of
God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than
any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.

24:48 "But if that evil slave says in his heart, 'My master is not
coming for a long time,'

and shall begin to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with
drunkards;

the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not
expect him and at an hour which he does not know,

hypocrites; weeping shall be there and the gnashing of teeth.

Th 5:2:For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will
come just like a thief in the night.

While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will
come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and
they shall not escape.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should
overtake you like a thief;
Rev 3: 3 Go back to what you heard and
believed at first; hold to it firmly and turn to me
again. Unless you do, I will come upon you suddenly, as unexpected as a
thief.
Remember,
Jesus also said it was the "evil
servant" who says "My Lord delayeth
his coming" (Mt. 24:48-51).
(I
believe that the Word Generation as it is use above, is referring to
the sons of the serpent, or us before we were born again. We are
being made anew or regenerated by taking refuge in our Lord and walking
after the Spirit. Putting
off the old man and putting on the new.
Where ever the old man is. Then we are in danger of judgment.)
Luke
17:37 And answering they said^ to Him, "Where, Lord?" And He said
to them, "Where the body is, there also will the vultures be gathered."
Eccl
8:11-13 When a crime is not punished, people feel it is safe to
do wrong.
Mat
11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is
like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their
fellows,

And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced;
we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath
a devil.

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a
man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners.
But wisdom is justified of her children.

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty
works were done, because they repented not:

But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon
at the day of judgment, than for you.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Isa
28:12
God's people could have rest in their own land if
they would only obey him, but they will not listen.

So the LORD will spell out his message for them again, repeating
it over and over, a line at a time, in very simple words. Yet they
will stumble over this simple, straightforward message. They will be
injured, trapped, and captured.

Therefore, listen to this message from the LORD, you scoffing
rulers in Jerusalem.

You boast that you have struck a bargain to avoid death and have
made a deal to dodge the grave. You say, "The Assyrians can never touch
us, for we have built a strong refuge made of lies
and deception."
Matt.
12:41, 42 - "The men of Nineveh shall stand up with this generation
at the judgment, and shall condemn it because they repented at
the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something is greater than Jonah
is here. The Queen of the South shall rise up with this
generation at the judgment and shall condemn it, because she came
from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something
greater than Solomon (is here.)" Jesus was saying that the
men of Nineveh and the Queen of the South would rise up (from the dead)
with this generation at the judgement.

Matt 24:34 (Mark 13:30) - Truly I say to you, this generation
will not pass away until all these things take place."
Clearly, Jesus answered His disciples' questions stating the events in
this chapter would come upon their generation. (Read some of Jesus'
parables that apply to that generation to whom He was speaking.
Matt. 21:33-46; 22:1-14 and Luke 19:11-27, 41-44)
Mark
8:38 ; "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this
adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed
of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."
Mk 9:1 He was saying to them, "Truly I say to
you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste
death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power."
This is one of clearest and most powerful messages by the mouth of
Jesus.
John
19:10 "You won't talk to me?" Pilate demanded. "Don't you
realize that I have the power to release you or to crucify you?"

Then Jesus said, "You would have no power over me at all unless
it were given to you from above. So the one who brought me to you has
the greater sin."
Mark
14:62 Jesus said, "I am, and you will see me, the
Son of Man, sitting at
God's right hand in the place of power and
coming back on the clouds of heaven."
Luke
21:22 says "because these are the days of VENGEANCE, in
ORDER THAT ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN MAY BE FULFILLED."
Mal
4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an
oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be
stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of
hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of
righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go
forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
(This
is the Day of the Lord, that John the Baptist help bring and fullfill
and point the way to Christ.
Heb
11:6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone
who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he
rewards those who sincerely seek him.

It was by faith that Noah built an ark to save his family from
the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about something that had never
happened before. By his faith he condemned the rest of the world
and was made right in God's sight.
(Our
ark is Jesus, the flood is the world and its systems. Anything not of
Christ is antichrist. Trust in Him to make a way, and not trust
in the world, He is in control, and the kingdoms of this world
are becoming His. He is telling us to be seperate from.the way the
world operates and He will strengthen us. walk upright and come up here
and I will receive you.)
Dan
4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be
with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as
oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times
shall pass over thee, till
thou know that the most High ruleth in
the kingdom of men,
and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
Dan
4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I
have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power,
and for the honour of my majesty?

While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from
heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The
kingdom is departed from thee.

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be

feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine
eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned
unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured
him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

Phil. 2:14-16 - "Do all things without grumbling or disputing;
that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of
God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation,
among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word
of life, so that in the day of Christ I may have cause to
glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain." (day of
Christ not the day of the Lord. Hold on till the end.
Christ
is putting everything under His feet, He must rule and reign until
then.)
Dan
12:13 "But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will
enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of
the age."
Rev
14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea,
saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their
works do follow them.
Zec
3:7 "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'If you will walk in My
ways, and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My
house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free
access among these who are standing here.

'Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are
sitting in front of you-- indeed they are men who are a symbol, for
behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch.

'For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one
stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,'
declares the LORD of hosts, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that
land in one day.

'In that day,' declares the LORD of hosts, 'every one of you will
invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.'"
(The
branch is Jesus, When He died for our sins, and we excepted His
rightness, He put and end to the law of sin and death, we are free in
Him. The one day is the Lord's Day to the end of all
unrightness. We are brought and paid for with His blood. and we are
being deliver out of the world, and our new nature is overcoming
the old, He is the one that is doing the work in us, and He is the one
that is saving us and know's how
to deliver us out of all out
temptations.)
Gal
4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a
bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Mat
8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east
and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the
kingdom of heaven.
The
Generation that Christ was talking too, the gathering of the saints of
the Old Testament, the seed of Abraham, was awaiting this day,
to be release from Hades.
The
gathering of the saints which includes us now, and saints to be,
riseing from the dead to them that know Christ. It happen in
that Generation. The last trumpet signaled the gathering of the
saints. Now we are overcomes though Him, He is the last Adam, all live,
first Adam all die. He is the one making all things new and doing the
work in us. Our life is hid in Him, we our all one in Him.

and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in
the kingdom of heaven.

11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith,

God having provided some better thing for us, that they
without us should not be made perfect.
Rom
3:25 For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and
to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we
believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God
was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish
those who sinned in former times.

And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he
declares sinners to be right in his sight because
they believe in Jesus.
Two
Kingdom's, One by the flesh, and our own efforts, and the
other by the seed of Abraham, by Faith.

8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the
glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of
God, and the promises;
(This
is Jesus talking to the church:) Rev 3:18 I advise
you to buy gold from me--gold that has been purified by fire. Then you
will be rich. And also buy white garments so you will not be shamed by
your nakedness. And buy ointment for your eyes so you will be able to
see.

I am the one who corrects and disciplines everyone I love.
Be diligent and turn from your indifference.

"Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling
and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as
friends.
Psa
94:1 O LORD, the God to whom vengeance belongs, O God of
vengeance, let your glorious justice be seen!

Arise, O judge of the earth. Sentence the proud to the
penalties they deserve.

How long, O LORD? How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat?

Hear their arrogance! How these evildoers boast!

They oppress your people, LORD, hurting those you love.

They kill widows and foreigners and murder orphans.

"The LORD isn't looking," they say, "and besides, the God of
Israel doesn't care."

Think again, you fools! When will you finally catch on?

Is the one who made your ears deaf? Is the one who formed your
eyes blind?

He punishes the nations--won't he also punish you? He knows
everything--doesn't he also know what you are doing?

The LORD knows people's thoughts, that they are worthless!

Happy are those whom you discipline, LORD, and those whom
you teach from your law.

You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug
for the wicked.

The LORD will not reject his people; he will not abandon his own
special possession.

Judgment will come again for the righteous, and those who are
upright will have a reward.

Who will protect me from the wicked? Who will stand up
for me against evildoers?

Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have died.

I cried out, "I'm slipping!" and your unfailing love, O
LORD, supported me.

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope
and cheer.

Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side-- leaders
who permit injustice by their laws?

They attack the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

But the LORD is my fortress; my God is a mighty rock where I
can hide.

God will make the sins of evil people fall back upon them.
He will destroy them for their sins. The LORD our God will destroy them.
1
Th 5:6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay
alert and be sober.
Psa
37:9 For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for
the LORD, they will inherit the land.
Jesus
started performing His Word, On the day of vengeance, day of the Lord,
day of deliverance, in that generation He was talking too.
and through out the generations and up to the generation that we
live in, and the generations to come, until these kingdom of
the world become His.
There
is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus. Through the
promises, by the seed of Abraham. through faith, Not the Law,
Religion, or being by good enough. But only in trusting in Him.
Rom
10:8 Salvation that comes from trusting Christ--which is the
message we preach--is already within easy reach. In fact, the
Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and
in your heart."
9
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ---so be it. Amen.
