Never
expect to be accepted all of the time by all of the people, move so when
you are a visionary and a carrier of God’s virtue. Even God Himself was
rejected. He said to Samuel, “… It is not you they have rejected but
they have rejected me as King over them” (ISam.8:7), and so I wonder why
you begin a pity party when your opinions, gifts and even you yourself
are not accepted or celebrated.
God has passed
through and is still passing through being rejected – even though human
beings write capital “H” when writing the pronoun “Him” and big “G” when
writing the noun “God”. Man is being worked upon by the enemy (Satan) to
reject their help and deliverance. Moses was a deliverer that was
rejected;
“…Who made you
ruler and judge over us?” Exo.2:14
When Pilate
gave options to the Jews between Jesus and the confusionist (Barabbas),
their answer was spontaneous;
“Away with this
man, and release unto us Barabbas”, Luke23:18
By implication,
they meant, “Away with peace,
truth, salvation, and release unto us
confusion”. WE MUST ALL BE
WARNED. WATCH OUT FOR WHAT YOU REJECT!
One of the
tools the enemy has released into the Church (as we are in these last
days) is rejecting the good and romancing the BAD. But of course, the
BAD will never present itself as bad. It will always come as the GOOD –
because Satan will ALWAYS present himself as an angel of light. But for
as many who are in the LIGHT, and who are SINCERELY panting for the
GOOD, Satan will always remain Satan, however bright he tries to paint
himself.
God had
instructed (led) Samuel to go to Jesse’s house and anoint (decide) who
would become the next King of Israel (ISam.16). Jesse had paraded “all”
his sons before Samuel. I can imagine Samuel’s head tilted at an acute
angle with his upper and lower lip tucked inside his mouth, looking very
Spiritual (after all, he was led). Jesse had concluded that Samuel must
have come to the wrong place since “all” of his sons had appeared. He
had completely forgotten (rejected) the lad called David (rejection
personified) in the field. But, alas! THE REJECTED WAS THE SELECTED.
Guys, watch out for the rejected!
Joseph had a
revelation. He had sincerely “shared” it with his elder brothers, or
older brethren. Perhaps he had only tried to express how spiritual he
was in “receiving” from God. Let me just pause here and drop this: WHEN
YOU “SHARE YOUR VISION WHERE YOU GREW UP (your local environment), THE
RESPONSE YOU’LL LIKELY GET IS MOCKERY, SCORN AND HATRED. Why? Because
they’ve known you from the scratch!
The elder
brothers (older brethren) had now developed this envy and bitterness (I
don’t have much space to explain). They had determined to kill him and
see “how his dream would come to pass.” BEWARE OF DREAM KILLERS!
Consequently, Joseph was neglected and rejected (sold). The funny point
is, this guy had not even become a ruler just yet!
Brother Joseph,
be careful how, where, when and with whom you share your “dreams” (goals
and aspirations) – “wisdom is the principal thing, so get wisdom!”
Joseph was ostracized, neglected. But, alas! THE NEGLECTED BECAME THE
ELEVATED. WATCH OUT FOR THE REJECTED AND NEGLECTED! They are coming up.
I said they are coming up!
Now, listen,
Brother Rejected and Sister Neglected! You must never reject or neglect
yourself because others do. Celebrate (with an attitude) every potential
in you. The only virtue you must eschew (keep off from) is the virtue of
sin. When sin is in a man’s life, the glory of God – which is the
epitome of attraction and admiration – is cut off. So, do all you can
(violently and vehemently) to fight every iota of sin and speck of
unrighteousness in your life.
Secondly, never
stop praying for the manifestations of Gods purpose in and for your life
– adding patience for the right timing; “for the vision is but for an
appointed time.” Habb.2:3.
Lastly, ALWAYS
look good – I mean presentably decent. “…and he (Joseph) shaved his
beard, trimmed his hair and changed his clothes (prison clothes)..”
Gen.41:14.
Every stone
that is rejected now will definitely become the head of the corner –
it’s just a matter of time.
God bless you.
