Male llamas for sale
Since we have sold or retired most of our female llamas, we don't have a job for our excellent adult males. These guys are looking for new homes where they can produce more  beautiful crias. We will discount 10% for 2 or more males.
Midknight Marauder
          ILR# 260376  Birthdate: 5/28/2004
Sire: Silver Peru's Red Storm Rising
Dam: KLR Fantasia
Sire: Silver Peru's Red Storm Rising
Black male with great conformation. He is a grandson of both Silver Peru and LW Sante Fe. He has a nice set of ears, good straight legs and the genetics to throw tons of wool and stretch.  His dam, Fantasia, is very stretchy, tall, silky wooled. His sire, Silver Peru's Red Storm Rising is incredibly heavy wooled and correct. Midknight is available for just $450.
Dam:  KLR Fantasia
Dakoda
ILR# pending  Birthdate: fall 2004
Sire: Papriko     Dam: Shamrock's Bit of Honey

Flashy Grey, Red and White male. This is the most interesting coloring- have never seen another like him. Photo on the right shows him as a cria to let you see his pure grey and red coloring. Left photo was taken July 2007 after a full body shear this spring. Dakoda has nice conformation. He is a grandson to Tocanoa's Tocayo ('99 heavy wool national champion). We had hoped to breed this guy for his awesome coloring, but we only have one female unrelated to him, so it makes more sense to find him a home were he can be used.
$600

Special discounted price: Buy Midknight AND Dakoda for $850.  These guys have been pastured together since they were young and will adjust well to a new home with an old friend.
RHL Angelino
ILR# 247612    Birthdate: 6/20/2002
Sire: Argentine Pecos
Dam: Canela Mist
Wooly, colorful and heavy boned! This half Argentine male is one of the "prettiest" llamas we've had. Take a look at that face. His first cria is on the ground, so he is proven.. We would like to have an opportunity to breed him to one of our girls in the future. Angelino gets his profuse wool growth and coverage from his sire, Argentine Pecos, who is also an extremely flashy applaloosa. The stud fee for Pecos is $2500!, so this guy is a steal for a flashy, proven male with these genetics. Angelino's dam is a dilute brown who showed well and has produced other nice show llamas.  Angelino's price is $1000.

Papriko
ILR #239484  Birthdate: 5/18/2001
Sire: Tocanao's Tocayo
Dam: Silver Mist's Chantilly Lace
Papriko is an outstanding male with deep red fiber. He has fantastic conformation which he passes on to his offspring, along with the color and markings. He has a flashy silver, red and white son and a red look-alike daughter that we are keeping. Papriko's sire, Tocanao's Tocayo was the 1999 National Heavy Wool Champion.  His other well known ancestors include Tocanao De Temuco, Macho De Las Montanas, and Sir Lawrence Papoufnik. Since we have too many boys and already have offspring from this guy, we have reduced Papriko's price to only $975.
