| This view is of the inside of the garage at Surrey Street bus station in the early '80s. At the time, the Nowich scene was dominated by Bristol Lodekkas, though this picture has also captured one of the last of the 1964 Bristol MW coaches. Surrey Street is still there, generally unchanged though its future seems to be in doubt. The depot is not much used now. I seem to remember some statistic about the span of the structure of the depot- anyone remember?. |  |

| This is one of the small batch of Bristol FL Lodekkas in the fleet, which outlasted the FS type presumably due to their exra capacity. The picture is taken in the busy centre of the town in the area my grandfather used to visit everyday at this time. |  |
