 | On the same day, a matter of minutes later and we find JOU160P. This is a mid seventies VR Series 3 now in use with Stagecoach and based in Winchester. It shares Winchester depot with a collection of modern vehicles, the oldest of which is more than ten years its junior. As the picture shows, that has not stopped it being repainted recently. |
| A view of some of Southampton's many remaining Leyland Atlanteans, which are still the backbone of the fleet. Despite recent arrivals of many new and secondhand buses in the fleet, the Atlanteans have not been recently reduced much at all. |  |
 | There are now very few Leyland Nationals to be seen in Southampton, mostly the odd visitor from Fareham. The exception is this bus, which is being used to recruit workers for the new local shopping centre. I think that it is one of the old British Airways fleet from Heathrow, and certainly is well presented. |
