I am a gradute of the New York Open Center's Reflexology Training Program, a comprehensive course of instruction and practice including over 200 hours of didactic and clinical instruction, followed by 90 therapy sessions and documented case studies.which is one of the most prestigious and selective of such programs on the U.S.'s East coast, and I am certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board. The program includes a theoretical underpinning, drawing from both eastern and western sources, instruction in anatomy and physiology, pathology, and therapeutic technique and a number of tutorials.
The program is taught and directed by Wendy Coad, MFA, B.Ed., LMT, an educator of over 23 years' instructional experience and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Reflexology Certification Board. In addition to her teaching duties at the New York Open Center, Ms. Coad maintains a private practice in Manhattan. Ms. Coad
is one of the foremost reflexology educators teaching and practicing in the world today. |
