Hello, my name is Rachael Huber, and I am a Certified Reflexologist living in and serving the areas of Montclair, western Essex County, northern New Jersey and New York City.
Firstly, thank you for visiting my website; I hope that it will be an enjoyable and informative experience for you, and I hope that it will assist you to come to some appreciation for and understanding of the science and art of reflexology and for its clinical effectiveness.
Reflexology is a scientific art based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all body parts. The physical act of applying specific pressures to the feet (and sometimes hands and ears) using thumb, finger and hand techniques results in stress reduction which causues a physiological change in the body. Reflexology balances energy, promotes relaxation and helps the body return to homeostasis. Each session is tailored to the individual and lasts 45 to 60 minutes.
