Gold Key, #1
Synopsis: A very loose translation of "Thousand Headed Man." A very lose translation.
Review: The only reason, except that is a Doc Savage comic, to own this comic is for the wonderful Bama cover, and 'pinup" on the back (don't pin up, though).  The art work is pretty bad.  Though, I have seen worse.  I would have expected better from Gold Key, especially the "60's.  There are very few good shots of Doc in this comic. I do not know who the writer and artist are, it was not listed.

Doc Savage and the Thing,
Synopsis: The same woman visits Ben Grimm in 1976 and Doc Savage in 1936. She is the wife of a Nobel Prize winning astronomer, and she has been beaten. In each era, the heroes race to find out what the madman is up to, and his 'star-beam' catches the autogyro, pulling Doc and the Thing into a confrontation with the Black Sun!
Review: It's odd to see Doc in what I consider to be a 'typical' comic superhero story. But, as I've said, more Doc is better than less Doc. I liked the quiet reaction of Doc and his friends to the appearance of The Thing.
Doc Savage and Spiderman,
Synopsis: A female being, named Desinna, comes to New York and meets up with Spider-Man, and asks for his help.  They meet at a building that is getting ready to be demolished.  The cornerstone of the building was used by Doc in the past (1934) to contain an energy creature.
The energy creature was from another dimension.  The creature was Desinna's lab partner, named Tarros, and working on projects exploring subspace, but an accident transformed and transmitted Tarros electrical aura to, you guessed it....1934 in time for Doc and his buds to fight.  Desinna had met Doc back in 1934 to warn him of the creature, and asked him for help.  During a big battle with the creature Doc see that the creature in electrical in nature, and finds a way to seal him in the cornerstone using Cadmium Liquid (Doc and his Cadmium Liquid).
So, now present time she is wanting Spider-Man to do something about the creature that was sealed in the stone by Doc so many years before.  But Spidey sees that for some reason that Desinna is up to something so he frees the creature, and he fades away, along with Desinna.
Review: A pretty good story.  Written by Gerry Conway, artwork by Ross Andru and Mike Esposito.  It was a good way to get Doc and Spidey in the same comic.  Art work is excellent, anything by Andru /Esposito is excellent.  The only drawback is although a small one, that since it is a Spidey comic little is left for characterization of Docs men.  But, Gerry Conway still managed to get pretty good stuff in there concerning Doc and his men.  The cover is very good. (The comic) is by Gil Kane, I do not know who inked the cover.
