At Alphabet Express Home Childcare, you pay per "position" which means that the slot is held just for your child and is not based on attendance. There will be no refunds or adjustments made to your childcare fee for your time missed due to illness, holidays, or days off. A place has been reserved for each child that cannot be filled on a short-term basis.
Full time Rates Full is 4 to 5 days a week
For 6 weeks to 12 months
$160 a week
For 13 months to 17 months
$145 a week *plus a $10 a month curriculum fee.
For
(18 months to 5 years)
$120 a week *plus a $10 a month curriculum fee.
Part time Rates 3 or less days a week
For 6 weeks to 12 months
$40 a day or $100 a week
For
(13 months to 5 years)
$35 a day or $100 a week *plus a $10 a month curriculum fee.
*There is a $10 a month per child fee for our Toddler and Preschool curriculum due at the beginning of the month. Toddler and Preschool curriculum focuses on the teaching of numbers, letters, phonics, begining reading, shapes, and comprehension.

The registration fee is $100 which goes the first
week's care and curriculum fee.

Holding Fee
If you need me to hold your child’s spot in my daycare for 2 months or less there will be a holding fee. You will be responsible for $50 a week for toddlers & $75 a week for infants. This is to hold your child's spot in Alphabet Express daycare. This fee is nonrefundable. No spot will be held longer than 2 months.
The above rates are payable whether or not your child is here. All care is paid in advance. Tuition is paid in cash or money order only. Payment is due Friday when picked up your child i.e. 6:00 pm. If payment has not been made on Friday there will be an additional charge of $20.00 per day for each day the payment is late. This DOES include weekends. I WILL deny care on Monday until payment is made. Repeated late payment is grounds for immediate termination. If a holiday falls on Friday, then payment will be under the same terms on Thrusday. All care is paid in advance. Refunds will be given if provider is unable to work.
Your childcare rates are based on enrollment and not attendance. Parents must pay me prior to their taking time off for Personal Days Off, Vacation, Time spend with another parent and Holidays if the time taken off falls on the scheduled last day of the week.
You must pay for the entire interim time period during Sabbaticals and extended leave of absences if you want me to hold your child’s spot for you. If your child does not attend childcare, then your payment must be made in advance of the impending week, i.e. Friday. This payment is not applied to future childcare, and is not negotiable nor is it refundable.
It's just like any other monthly bill. Your phone bill, cable bill, mortgage. If you don't watch tv for a week, do you ask for a discount on your cable bill? If you are on vacation for two weeks do you pay only half your mortgage that month? If you don't use your phone do you get a discount? Of course not! You are paying for a service and it's your choice to use it or not.
PICK-UP TIMES AND LATE FEES
Late fees are payable in cash at the time of pick-up. Please be understanding in that this is not for financial gain, but rather to make sure I never go over on my child to provider ratio. Here are a few things to remember:
Please remember that each family is contracted for a specific set of hours. This means that if you are contracted to have your children here from 7:00a.m. Until 5:30 p.m., and you arrive to pick them up at 5:31pm, you are considered late, and I need to be contacted by phone if you will be late in picking up your child. The only time I will waive the late fee is if you are late because of unforeseen weather such as a snowfall or very heavy rain. I would rather have you here safe than have you risk your life to get here on time! Late fees are waived only at my discretion. Late fees for unexpected overtime are payable at the pick-up time of the day the parent is late.
Overtime rates are as follow
$1 per 1 minute at the end of your contracted day
$5 per 15 minutes If the child needs to arrive before 7:00 a.m.
If any child need to come earlier it will be handle on a case by case basis.
At least one interview must be completed before the enrollment process can begin. Call or email to set up times. Sorry, I do not make first interviews during daycare hours nor do drop interviews. This is done for the safety of my daycare children. Most interviews will be held on Sunday. All interviews must be scheduled. If for ANY reason you would be unable to attend your scheduled interview, please be sure to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. I will show you the same courtesy if I should also become unavailable.
For the first interview I will be happy to set up an appointment after daycare hours or on the weekend. After that you are more than welcome to come back and observe the day care in progress. To ensure the safety of the children, no unscheduled inquirers may visit during day care hours. The open door policy begins once your child is enrolled.
