| The picture of the car in blue is, sadly, the only one I have, of it, in its final colours, and with its huge amount of modifications. Some of the more obvious ones are the adjustable aerofoils fitted at the front, and the much bigger hole in the nose and the heavily cut-away rear end, There were quite a lot of changes beneath however. Quite a few suspension changes were made. Brakes , wheels and tyres were all changed. Two oil coolers were put where the rear of the original bodywork was, and the whole cooling system was altered. John Aley constructed an amazing roll cage into it. This car was incredibly quick in the mid range, from about 70 to 140 . The top speed was 210 + mph, with the Cosworth engine. This was it at its very best. However the picture of my son 'posing' in it gives a better idea of how the colour really looked. It always looked fast when it was standing still. The book of pictures went missing in a house moving. | |

This picture shows how much
better the car looks, than can be seen in the above picture. This is more
the true shade of blue.
My son was only about 11 then, and it was quite a thrill for him to be sitting in the car, at the World Championship BOAC 1000 Km at Brands Hatch, when the cream of the world's drivers were in the Paddock |

I bought it as a rolling chassis
(Complete but without engine), I didn't want the Chrysler engine, and I
got lots of spares like front and rear spare chassis, suspension arms,
discs etc. I fitted it with a Ford Cosworth engine and changed the gearbox
to a new Hewland. We did a lot of development on it, and it got better and
better. A lot of this work was carried out by Richard Zettering and Ken
