Lilian and I met in
about 1950, at a Salvation Army Youth Club. I invited her to my Christmas party on 27th December
1952, and this was the start of our partnership which has lasted until
today. The picture right, is the first picture I ever took of Lilian, in
1952. |

was taken in 1956, when we had been courting for almost four
years, of which I had been away at sea for about three and a half
years. |

Slightly older now,
much wiser, and still together, and very happy, in 2000, our 43rd year
of marriage, and 48th year together.
