This is a very special Collection of 6 Limited Edition Prints called "Six by Six" which were commissioned by BMW (GB) Ltd. In their full size they are truly superb!

This set is number 472 of 1500 sets.

It is a collection of beautiful prints by six Leading, and Internationally renowned photographers. Each one is signed and numbered by the photographer's own hand writing. Everyone who has seen them has wanted them - BMW lovers or not!!

In the catalogue it says:-

"Some months ago (in 1982), BMW (GB) Ltd approached a number of leading photographers to become involved in a project to mark the launch of the BMW6 Series. It says something about the reputation of the car that in almost every case, the approach was received enthusiastically .

From the original list, six photographers were finally selected as being the most suitable. And the original concept evolved into the 'Six by Six' limited edition collection. The photographers were chosen not just for their reputation and the very high standards displayed in their work, but also for the variety of their styles.

Each photographer has provided his own highly individual interpretation of the BMW Coupe. And each of the final photographs is a limited edition, signed by the photographer and exclusive to 'Six by Six'."

This collection is contained in a padded presentation box specially produced by BMW (UK) Ltd., and is complete with the original Catalogue (which explains each picture) and the original letter from BMW (GB) Ltd, addressed to me personally. It has been in my personal possession since it was issued in November 1982, and is in "superb condition". The padded box has a 'very small' crease in the side (see the above picture of the box) which occurred in the original posting to me.

Each picture is of about A4 size and is very suitable for framing. All the prints are individually numbered as shewn above, with the number '472'.

So it is a COMPLETE collection all with the same number!!
