THE UNIPOWER GT
The meaning of the letters GT applied to
a car racing in such events as the famous Le Mans, is Gran Turismo, or Grand Touring.
By definition it means a vehicle capable
of covering great distances, carrying two people, in style, with sufficient luggage for a
weekend.
The Unipower GT is one of a great number
of GT's built using the engines and running parts of the MINI, such as the MINI Marcos,
and among others, the MINI Jem.
I believe the Unipower is the nearest to
reaching the ideals of the honourable letters GT, carried by the worlds' greatest marques,
such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Aston Martin,

THE
MINI
The MINI is famous world wide as the
definitive small car, capable of carrying 4 adults within a 10 feet length.
In 1999, the MINI is celebrating its 40th year iun continuous
production, and was voted, by enthusiasts worldwide. 'Car of the Century', in Top Gear's
poll for car for the Millenium.
In this century, when there are
hundreds of cars which could qualify, the top 100 nominated. from these a poll was
taken, which the MINI won. This is no mean achievement.
