Glacė Icing

 

Ingredients:

Cup

Confectioners Sugar

2

Tbl

Warm Water

Directions:

Stir the warm water and the confectioners sugar together until the sugar dissolves completely and the icing is smooth. The icing should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. If too thick add more water, if too thin add confectioners sugar.

**For fruit flavored icing, replace the water with fruit juice. To make coffee flavored icing replace the water with strong coffee.

Once made the glace may be flavored with any extract of choice, or a liqueur. If you use liqueur, reduce the amount of water used in the icing by 1 tablespoon.

For chocolate flavored icing, melt 2 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate in the microwave and let cool slightly before adding to the prepared icing.
