Hanamichi entered to the gym in
silence and walked in Kogure's direction.
"Megane-kun" he called
the spectacled boy.
"Ah, Sakuragi... you were
already here? I didn't hear you coming"
"Hai... eh... can we talk
after practice?"
"Sure"
After practice, both boys were
walking to a park near Sakuragi's house.
"So... what happen?"
Kogure said when they sit in the ground.
"Well... I wanna ask you
something"
"And what is it?"
"How do you do... for
Mitcchy... to tell you..."
"To tell me what?"
Kogure couldn't understand what his friend was trying to ask him.
"...to tell you that he
loves you"
ends Sakuragi.
"Well..." Kogure didn't
know how to answer that question "I suppose I don't do anything,
he always say that to me when he wants to"
"Oh, I see" the redhead
looked disappointed.
"Are you having problems with
Rukawa?" asked Kogure.
"It’s nothing, only that...
when I say to him that I love him, he always look down and change the
subject"
"Well, you don't have to
worry... I'm sure it is just that he is not ready, Hisashi has also problems
expressing his feelings... you need to be patient"
"Hai, I suppose... well
Megane-kun, I have to go now, see ya'"
Kogure wait until Sakuragi
disappeared and then starts walking to Rukawa's house.
It was a Friday like any other
Friday when Hanamichi enter to the gym, only that this time there was no one
in there.
"Hey!!! Gori, Megane-kun,
where's everybody?"
Hanamichi was starting to think
that something wrong might have happen when he heard a voice behind him.
"This is the place where I
kiss you for the first time, remember?"
Hanamichi turned to see the owner of that voice, but there was nobody there.
"What kind of joke is
this?" he said angrily. Someone appears from behind him, it was Akagi.
"He is waiting for you at the
park..."
Hanamichi looked to Akagi with
surprise eyes, but he decided to do the questions later, now he had to find
him.
Hanamichi arrived at the park and
went to the court without a second thought. There was someone waiting for him,
but not the one he thought would be.
"Mit... Micchy... what are
you doing here?"
Mitsui showed him a recorder
machine and pressed play. The voice that Hanamichi knows too well started
talking.
"This is the place where I
let you win that unforgettable one-on-one, you never forgave me for loosing on
purpose, remember?"
Hanamichi wanted to ask Mitsui
what was happening, but the scarred-face boy didn't let him.
"There's a surprise for you
in your house, Sakuragi-kun, better run if you wanna see it"
Hanamichi didn't say a word and
ran to his home. Ayako was waiting for him outside, also with a recorder
machine.
"It was in your house
where I told you that I wouldn't go to the USA, 'cause I prefer to stay with
you, remember?"
This time Hanamichi didn't say
anything; just wait for Ayako's instructions.
"Go to his home Sakuragi
Hanamichi, he is waiting for you"
Hanamichi reaches Rukawa's house
and enter. Sitting in the living room is Kogure.
"Sakuragi-kun"
"What does this mean, Megane-kun?"
Sakuragi asked to his friend.
"Don't you understand?"
the spectacled boy said, "It means that love means more than words"
"Where's Kaede?"
Hanamichi asked.
"In the place where you told
him for the first time that you love him"
Hanamichi couldn't remember it, so
he stayed there, waiting for Kogure to say something more, but the other boy
only looked at him in silence. Hanamichi was starting to believe that he’d
have to guess it, when a voice talks from behind.
"You didn't remember, did
you do'aho? We were walking, the wind blowing in our faces... suddenly, you
took my hand and put it in your chest. I looked at you with my usual cold
expression. Then, you kissed me, and said 'Do you feel it, kitsune? Is my
heart yelling that aishiteru'"
Hanamichi turned and saw Miyagi
with a recorder.
"Do you remember,
Hanamichi?" the shorter boy asked him.
"Hai"
"Then go, he's waiting for
you"
Hanamichi left the house running,
without even saying a word to his friends.
Hanamichi was walking on the
beach, searching for Rukawa. Finally, he saw someone standing in front of the
sea, looking to the horizon. Hanamichi walked faster in order to see if he was
Rukawa.
Rukawa was standing in the beach,
looking at the sea. Suddenly, he felt a presence near him. He turned and saw
Hanamichi.
*The moment has come, it is now
or never*
Rukawa walked to Hanamichi and
kissed him. When he broke the kiss, Hanamichi was crying.
"I couldn't believe... you
remembered all those things... all the details... everything" the redhead
said.
"Don't cry do'aho" said
Rukawa, caressing Hanamichi's cheek.
"But kitsune... I was so
stupid... I thought that I need the words, when you were giving me the
love"
*So you finally understand*
"Do'aho, do you know what day
is today?"
"Eeerr... Friday?"
"Today is our day"
"Friday is our day?"
"Baka do'aho, today is our
day 'cause it’s November 10th"
"So?" Sakuragi couldn't
understand anything his lover was saying.
"That is the 10th day of
the 11th month, like our numbers in the basketball team: 10 and 11"
Hanamichi was staring at his
boyfriend, trying to understand what he meant.
"You don't understand, do
you?" Kaede said smiling, "I have decide that this day was perfect
to give a new step in our relationship"
"Uh? What new
step?" the clueless redhead asked.
Rukawa took Hanamichi's hand and
put it in his chest. Then, he kissed his boyfriend and said, "Do you
feel it, do'aho? Is my heart yelling that aishiteru"
A girl was walking in the beach
when suddenly she saw two guys kissing. She walked directly to them.
"Happy RuHana's Day
boys"
The boys broke the kiss and looked
at her.
"I hope you liked the
fic" the girl said smiling.
"Hai, Tensai liked it, thank
you Mercury-san" the redhead said.
"Thanks Hana-kun"
Mercury answered, "Did you like it, Kaede-kun?"
"It wasn't bad"
Mercury smiled at them one more
time and then started walking again.
"Hey, Merc-san!"
Mercury stops, but she didn't
turned.
"What's up, Kaede-kun?"
"Now it's your turn... go and
tell that classmate of yours that you like him"
"Hai, I will"
And Mercury left, leaving the boys kissing in the beach, after all... it was their day.
