The Wolf's Dream

I hope you have a terrific day! So, my friend,
we shall finally Dance ...

You have a gentle soul,
a kind and loving heart,
-- Your eyes alone have shown more than that --
so, why then, should you feel so lost?

Since I have Dreamed you many times
I've felt your ways,
I've seen the Signs...

You believe in certain things
you feel are right
     (When you use your Sight)
You don't know where they come from,
and since so many disagree
you think there's a chance
you may be wrong,
so you wonder and doubt
and don't hear the Song.

You hunger for something
though you don't know what,
a strange, yet somehow familiar, feeling,
an ache not quite desperate.

You feel the Power all surround
but you can't quite grasp it
when you look around.
So you reach and you search
and you finally cry out!

Your desire is felt throughout the Sky,
your frustration heard deep within your cry.
The Creature-beings have all returned -
their stories revealed to Mother Earth.
Her will, Her message has been sent,
"There is to be another birth."

Earth Mother will see your questions answered.
She'll see your needs will all be met
by sending a Teacher
to show you the Path.

     "I have heard!"

Having held your deepest heart,
caressed your most sincere request,
the Teacher has, now, a question
that dare not be considered yet ...

     "Will we Dance
     the Dance of Wolves,
     or will the Wolf
     be trapped?

          for Paul Allen
          because of his inspiration --
