| Our firefighting team was founded in 1996. We now have 20 volunteers, and we train several times a year. Since Dolev is far from any fire station, we have our own fire truck. It's a 1970 (!!!) Magirus-Deutz 750-D-77. But our 20 volunteer fire fighters maintain it at peak performance. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Car accident, near Dolev, April 8 2001. The car overturned and was stopped by an electricity pole, at the edge of a cliff, Then it begun to burn and light the forest. The 2 passangers escaped. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| There's more to be done! We urgently need to obtain more equipment including: long firehoses, Turbojet applicators, backpack water sprayers, and rescue equipment. |
