concurso de la provincia alemana de Baviera, en el que sólo 6 coros son
admitidos a competir, representando en esta ocasión a: Dinamarca, India,
Sudáfrica, Eslovenia, Italia y Cuba.

Simposio Mundial de Canto Coral. Copenhague
El Simposio Mundial de Música Coral (WSCM) es el evento trienal de intercambio más relevante del mundo coral. Coralina se encuentra entre los 25 coros de los cinco continentes invitados a tomar parte en su 8va edición, que tendrá lugar en Copenhagen del 19 al 26 de julio con sede principal en la casa de la Ópera de dicha ciudad, una de las instalaciones operísticas más modernas del mundo. 165 agrupaciones presentaron además su candidatura al evento, en el que se espera la afluencia de cerca de 4000 participantes.
Junto a los múltiples conciertos, talleres y clases magistrales, el simposio de este año ofrecerá una amplia muestra de música nórdica y serán estrenadas 11 obras encargadas a compositores escandinavos y bálticos –Coralina interpretará una de ellas compuesta por Butch Lazy—.
También
desde Cuba participa con un céntrico stand en el área expositiva del evento, Canada-Cuba Sports & Cultural
Festivals,
una organización con más de 15 años de experiencia organizando la visita a
Cuba de grupos corales, danzarios y deportivos y propiciando el
intercambio con sus homólogos en la isla. Anunciamos que en dicho stand estará
disponible una nueva multimedia de Coralina realizada de conjunto con esta
asociación.
El FIS es, junto con el de Granada, el más antiguo de los festivales españoles, y también el de mayor duración: más de treinta días trepidantes, llenos de música, danza, teatro, ópera, ballet, etc. Por sus escenarios han desfilado los más grandes artistas del siglo XX. Coralina tendrá el honor de participar con 3 programas de concierto diferentes entre los días 4 y 8 de agosto .

This year, along with celebrating their XV anniversary, Schola Cantorum Coralina will tour to Germany and Denmark for the first time and meet once more the audiences of Portugal and Spain, also taking part in relevant events.

Select
competition of Bavaria province where only 6 choirs are admitted. Denmark,
India, South Africa, Slovenia, Italy and Cuba will be represented in this
edition.
8th. World Symposium on Choral Music. Copenhagen, Denmark
WSCM is the triennial most important returning event in the international choral world. Coralina is among the 25 guest choirs from 5 continents selected to take part in the 8th edition, which will be held July 19th through 26th. It will be hosted at Copenhagen’s new state-of-the-art opera house. Around 165 choirs have applied to participate and around 4000 persons are expected.
The Symposium will present a large number of concerts, workshops and master classes with conductors, composers and other specialists from all over the world. Special focus will be made on Nordic choral music, including 11 premiers of commissioned works from leading Scandinavian and Baltic composers. Coralina will interpret one of them by maestro Butch Lazy

from Cuba, Canada-Cuba Sports
& Cultural festivals will participate with a central stand in
the World Choral Expo of the event. CCS&CF is an organization with more
than 15 years of experience organizing trips to Cuba of choral, dance and
sports groups making possible the exchange with their Cuban counterparts, as
well. We announce that a new multimedia of Coralina –made in collaboration with this
association–
will be presented at their booth.
The FIS is, together with Granada Music Festival, the oldest of Spaniard festivals, as well as the longer one, with more than 30 exciting days of music, dance, theater, opera, ballet, etc. The most important artists of XX century have performed there. Coralina has the honor to participate with 3 different concert programs from August 4 to 8.
