My monte started out as an 1986 LS. I did a frame off restoration put new poly body mounts, all new poly a-arm bushings, replaced the trailing arms with Hotchkis arms, GN 8.5 rear end with camaro rear disc brakes. This I did after I sandblasted and painted the frame. I had to have the hard top removed and the T-Tops installed by a local body shop. I put an 85 305 tuneport out of a camaro, it was bored 30 over, new flat top pistons,Cumpu Cam 2020 roller cam, full roller rocker arms. 7000r4 tranny. I built a digital dash using Cyberdyne green vacumn flourescent gauges. The seats are out of a Geo Storm. The spoiler is off  a 1992 RS Camaro. The wheels are 17 inch Eagle Alloys. Front tires are 255/45/17 and the backs are 285/40/17 B.F. Goodrich. The exhaust system is Edelbrock TES Jet Hot coated, hi-flow cat, with two Flowmaster delta flows 40 series mufflers. New carpet was installed and a new headliner. Ground effects are Lauren Eng. stage 2.The stereo system is an Alpine 7525 head unit am/fm/ cassette and cd controller with a 6 disc changer, 2 Alpine expert V-12 amps, one MRV-1005, one MRV-F405 for a total output of 500 watts of power. The door speakers are Alpine 5 1/4 component mounted in audioforms. The rear speakers are Alpine 6 1/2 components mounted underneath the quarter glass. The subs are 2 JL Audio 12 inch W3's mounted in a sealed box behind the rear seat. The trunk is finished in white formica .
