    Part of The Capitol Theater Summerstage. From the first rehearsal to the last show was only two weeks!

"The Crucible"
     A play about the Salem witch trials. Written about the same time as the whole McCarthy / UnAmerican thing was going on.
"Will Rogers Follies"
     A 'Follies' type show about the life of the first super-star, Will Rogers

Players of Utica
PAY THE PIPER AUDITIONS
Players of Utica will hold auditions for PAY THE PIPER, an original musical for children on Tuesday, July 26th and Wednesday July 27th from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm in the church hall of St. Mary of Mount Carmel church (Jay Street). There are 9 roles for children (3 boys and 6 girls) ages 12 - 16. You will need to read from the script and sing solo. If you wish you may bring your own music. SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET
Location: New Hartford High School Choir Room
Oxford Road in New Hartford
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Performance details:
Director: Peter Loftus. Music Director: Mark Bunce.
September 9, 10, 11, 2005 at Clinton High School Theatre. You must be available for all of the performance dates.
Large chorus and main characters needed. Ages 17 years old and up. Be prepared to sing (no need to bring music) and read from script.
SWEENEY TODD is a special fundraising event being produced to benefit the Players of Utica Rebuilding Fund.
