Meet the Designers
Deborah is the mother of two sons, Nathaniel and Ashleigh, and Married to Michael. She is currently studying for a Batchelor of Arts at the Australian National University in Canberra, majoring in Art History. Her passion for historical recreation started as a child, and began to take its current form in 1994.
Deborah is also involved in an historical recreation group, The Society for Creative Anachronism. There she holds the title of Mistress of the Laurel, this is awarded for the pinnacle of attainment in the area of Arts and Sciences. Deborah's speciality is the teaching, research and development of Venetian noble women's dress and accessories of the mid to late 16th century. Deborah hopes to have her research on Venetian Dress published by the end of 2008, before if grows too big.
Katrina is the mother of 3 boys and married to her husband, David. She has a busy life, between her work for the School of Music at the Australian National University in Canberra and her passion for historical recreation. Katrina holds a Masters in Philosophy and is an avid researcher of music and dance.
Katrina and her family are involved in an historical recreation group, The Society for Creative Anachronism. Music and dance are Katrina's first loves, but not confined to that alone.
