In order to obtain such a commendable and monumental goal, though not impossible, requires keen perception, diligent work, and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. The preamble to the U.S. constitution layed the foundation for what it called "a more perfect union" with precepts such as: establishing justice; ensuring domestic tranquility; promoting the general welfare; and providing for the common defense of the people.

These are just some basic ingredients for a democracy (which sounds a lot like Demon-cracy), then the constitution itself laid the laws, organization, and procedures to follow in order to reach "a more perfect union". Evidently this was not adequate to produce the desired results, because within 100 years civil war followed. After careful observation, the following shortcomings can be pointed out.

1.) To give ingredients and a procedure for something that has never been done is impossible. The experiment leads to the ingredients and procedure and not the reverse. "Experience is the best teacher".

2.) When the ingredients consist of concepts, they must be clearly defined and understood by those involved in the process. Otherwise confusion arises on the very definition of the terms used to begin with therefore consensus can never be reached about the results.

In order to avoid these pitfalls, we will first define the Ingredients for Ma'atcracy as concisely as permitable given time constraints. And secondly instead of just giving a general procedure or recipe to follow, we will define problems, the origin of these problems, probable solutions, and possible consequences based on analogies to history and other social issues of a similar context. This enables us to fully examine and comprehend situations so that we my produce valid strategies in order to achieve the desired results.

1.) Love - Unconditional, constant giving and re-giving
2.) Harmony - Adjusting and coordinating efforts
3.) Justice - Deciding events/conflicts based on evidence and Universal Law
4.) Mobility - freeness of motion, ability to move
5.) Security - State of fearlessness
6.) Peace - State of motionlessness
7.) Balance - State of equality
8.) Truth - State of Knowing

Each of these principles and concepts are paired together such that the top 4 requires motion and leads to the bottom 4 states in the following manner: (love/truth), (Harmony/Balance), (Justice/Peace), (Mobility/Security). And to further explain these principles, we will give a short analogy for each pair.

1.) Love/Truth - I'm sure each one of us had lied at one time or the other and when caught, we may have given the excuse: "I lied because I love you". And we all know the response to this statement also: "If you loved me, then why ain't you tell me the truth". Love demands truth and truth requires love.

2.) Harmony/Balance - A scale moving up and down is in harmony and when it stops moving, that's balance.

3.) Justice/Peace - The cries and rioting that pursues what people see as an injustice echoed throughout the sixties/seventies with marches and boycotts and people displaying signs: "No Justice, No Peace". Without deciding based on Universal Law and evidence, people perceive the injustice and become aroused or set into motion trying to reach balance and peace based on harmony and justice. When the injustice is great, people take the law into their own hands and riot or loot.

It is the purpose of Law to avoid conflicts or wars. When one branch of the law fails, we go to the next level up in the law heirarchy. (i.e. When local law fails us, we seek state law and when state law fails us, we seek federal laws). Each body of law is used to prevent conflicts within the specific jurisdiction and enforced by the appropiate authorities.

Yet there are Global wars and conflicts because the international law and authorities has failed us. We as a people must go to the next level up. Since we are not in The Star Trek Federation and Galactic Law is non-existent, we must go to UNIVERSAL LAW - The Law of Love with the prime directive of "No Harm No Foul".

4.) Mobility/Security - There are as many forms of insecurity as there are insurance (which is latin for insecurity). But to sum them all up, you feel most vulnerable when tied up or held hostage. When your mobility is removed, so is your security. All forms of insecurity, be it financial, Medical, Fire, or Life is based on freeness of motion in each category and the fear resulting from this lack of freeness.

Now that the ingredients for Ma'at were defined (and they will exist in the individual and community), the procedures, analogies, and consequences follows. The mood changes because we are dealing with harsh realities and we must be blunt and to the point. There is only 1 way to achieve Ma'at - revolution.
