The Bolivian Andes are breathtaking. The valleys, and steep mountain peaks are perfect for backpacking trips, as many groups of 'hippes' who reside there have found. The native people of the valleys and mountains of Bolivia, or in other words, the majority of Bolivians, are known as Collas. These are the decendents of the incas, and maintain many of their customs even today. These people are generally short, dark brown, and are renowned for their hard work. |
