Old Eyes

I may be young but my eyes are old
They have seen things That my mind locks away,
They have seen things That my heart longs to forget,
They have seen things
That my soul, knows will happen again.
And still they go on watching......
Human suffering, people forgotten, happens everyday
Places we know and love are destroyed
Forest's gone, animals disappearing

The earth we walk on harmed and is suffering

The air we breathe and the oceans and seas poisoned
And still they go on watching.....

And when I lay down at night
they are still seeing
The pain will not go away,
The knowing can not be locked away forever.

What is it they are watching for,
Could it be the day, that is coming
....
When all the suffering will be over,
Or just to remember what is happening
For the next life, the next cycle, the next beginning

And still they go on watching......

Lost

I'm lost, In my own shadows
For the first time, I'm afraid of them
I used to know where to find the light
But it's gone, I'm stumbling in the dark
Alone, afraid, and unsure
My soul screams with restlessness
Please, show me the light

So, I may be at peace, in the heart
Of my shadows once again
I found the light, when I remembered
That in your darkest hour
When you think you are alone in this world
All you have to do is reach inside yourself
Close your eyes, look into your heart
Find the light that burns there
When you find the light
It will illuminate the darkness
For you are never alone in this world
You just tend to feel as if you are
And once again I'm at peace in my shadows.

A Smile

Of Wizards and Warriors, our memories do hold.
The Magic of yesterday, the lore of Old.
We seek that power which,  we think we shall not find.
And in the process lose, the magic we left behind.
So when you search, all those lonely miles.
Remember the power and magic, in one simple smile.

Hawaiian Prayer - Traditional

May the earth continue to live,
May the heavens above continue to live
May the rains continue to dampen the land,
May the wet forests continue to grow.
Then the flowers shall bloom, and we
people shall live again

Apache Lullaby

The earth is your mother,
she holds you.
The sky is your father,
he protects you.
Sleep,
sleep.
Rainbow is your sister,
she loves you.
The winds are you brothers,
they sing to you.
Sleep,
sleep.
We are together always
We are together always
There never was a time
when this
was not so.

Even if the heavens were to fall on me.  I want to do what is right
I never do wrong without a cause!
