• Wear loose comfortable clothing

• Bring a mat/ blanket/ towel/ sleeping bag – something to lie on & something to cover you

• Do not eat a heavy meal before session

• Good idea to go to the loo and blow your nose before practising yoga

• It may be advisable to remove jewellery, watches, specs and of course shoes and socks. Contact lenses may also be a problem for some people during yoga sessions.

• Bare feet are best, as you are less likely to slip

• You may like to bring a drink of water or juice and some tissues

• Please ensure that any medical conditions have been discussed with your tutor

• Do inform the tutor BEFORE you start your first session, if you are pregnant, or you have given birth or have had a surgical procedure or serious illness within the last 12 months.
