Keeper: James Kingsmill
Players: Simon Jones, James Ley, Beren Sanders, James Kingsmill (limited)
James K here. We're playing Cthulhu Now at the moment, basing our characters on ourselves. Ie., James Kingsmill is extrememly cool, so his KWL stat would be very high (18). Semen Bones is highly abnormal and not at all normal, so his NRM stat would be very low (3). The campaign is also set in Canberra, the city where we all live. It is truly surreal playing yourself in the real world. I would recommend the experience to anyone into RPGs.
I find Cthulhu Now to be a lot easier to be Keeper for than 1920s Cthulhu, but also a lot more rewarding, strangely. It also seems that it's easier for the players to roleplay in this modern setting.
