Hello, everybody! I am a rescue that was in a Tennessee Puppymill. I was rescued by a TN Internet Min Pin Service volunteer. She got me my shots and first vet visit. I was thin, but otherwise pretty healthy. I have NO clue about humans. I do not bite, but if a human gets near me, I RUN AWAY!!! I'm so scared. Either way, another lady got me and fostered me for about 2 months. She then decided to retire from rescue, so I went to another girl for a week, until I came here to my perminant foster home. I'll be here until I find my forever home. I'm such a sweet and loving girl, even though I am scared of all these new things. I am learning to trust people and am working on house training and walking on a leash. I'm an older lady, but still very smart. I'll come when called, if you have a treat for me :) hehe! I'll grab it and RUN AWAY again! I have learned to love sleeping in bed under the covers with my new brother and sister. I am a lot littler than them & at first they tried to boss me around, but I stood my ground with them. Never got into a fight, but had a couple of shoving matches... I won! I don't bark much, unless the others bark first. I'm just a laid back lady looking for someone to love me in my old age. I'm active for my age (would you guess that I'm 7?). I love my soft squeek toys, I think they are pups and I tote one around most of the time. Even though I am scared of people, once you get your hands on me, I love to be rubbed and scratched. I don't mind a bath or manicure much. I prefer to approach you humans for love, not for you to approach me. If you try to rub me without my approval, you have to corner me to pick me up. I love food and treats, doggie or humane, either one please! Pray that I find my forever home soon! Thanks for reading my story and come back often to check on my progress!
LOVE,
DAISY
Well, Daisy went out on a trail in a new home, but she didn't work there, so she is back with me - FOREVER! She had such a time over the past 5 weeks. She was in her possible home for two weeks & then went to another volunteers home until she could get back to me. She has been through so much in last few months that I do not feel comfortable placing her again. Check back for updates on Daisy. More photos coming soon.

With Love, Daisy
I lost Daisy to old age in late 2006. It was tough. I woke up and found her little lieless body in her bed. She passed over rainbow bridge in her sleep. My dear sweet lil girl will be missed always.

HEY! It's me, Daisy! I've been back home for a few weeks now & I am SOO happy. I really missed my sister, Gypsy. We had bonded really well. We are still close as ever. Me & Chance still tolerate each other. He is nice to me, but I mostly ignore him, as I know he is really gealous of me. I get spoiled just a little more than everybody else. Mom gives me just a tab more canned food and one more treat than the other kids. I'm so happy that I found out what life should really be like, GOSH, I can't believe what I was missing out on! I'm doing so much better these days. I still get scared easy, but now I'll come to mom for lovings more often & I love to snuggle with her & the other kids. I prefer to snuggle with her alone, but the other dogs have to be outside or they will try to get all mom's attention. If they do get it, I just like to lay there with a paw on mom's hand or leg, that way I know she is near, that she loves me, & that I am safe. I have a new sister now, that I REALLY like to play with. You should see me, Gyps, & Chancie chasing her around the yard. Mom says we are the fastest pins she has ever seen. We are just one big Blk/Rst streak behind a little red one! ;) We keep the grass in the yard mowed down, just by running araound everyday. We have to 'mind your manners' in the house, but the yard is ours. We also have a couple of new pals that come over to play once or twice a week if Mom doesn't puppy sit them any. We were going to keep one of them, but a friend of ours went to rainbow bridge, so Mom sent her other adopted baby to live with his dad. His dad's sister in law adopted one of the littermates to that puppy & so they come visit us together. The puppies kind of make me happy, but kind of make me sad. They are so full of energy & life that I can't help but love them, but they make me think about the mill & MY babies. I wonder what happened to them.
LOVE ALWAYS,
'Miss Daisy Mae'

Daisy Ready to PLAY!

Daisy Trying to Bribe me...

Well, It has been a while. I am still a shy little girl, but I have learned to be excited when Mom & Dad get home. I never potty inside now, although I still have to go out every couple of hours because I have a weak bladder. Mom says that is no problem, as long as we have Gammie to help walk me once in a while. I love the rest of the pack, they are all great to me, plus they make me feel secure. I can hang back in the crowd to make sure nothing is going to hurt me before I get my lovings & huggins. I love to play still, even thouh I am getting up in years. My favorite playmate is now Autumn, she's my partner in crime, or so mom says. When one of us is into something, so is the other.... We proved that to mom a while back by playing with a spider... and both getting bitten by it. Mom had to rush us to the vet, as we were both very swollen in our faces & throats. The Dr. fixed us up & told us to stop being so noisey. Sounds like a plan to me, that hurt! I had to get a shot in my bottom to help the swelling. Well, I haven't gotten into any more cappers since, so I think I'm doing pretty good. I love my new brother, Reese. He's one cool puppy. He likes to hang out with me, but he doesn't lead me into mischeif like Autumn. We play together a lot, but he isn't as rough as the others are with me, he seems to know that I am an old woman. Sometimes he just doesn't play rough enough. I still like to rough house once in a while. That is why I like Autumn so much, if I get rough, so does she. If I take it easy, so does she...... My bestest friend! :) Well, I guess that covers it for the time being.
