AWDA - African Descendants with Albinism - is a support group assisting individuals of African descent affected by albinism and their families.
We are committed to:
Providing a telephone/e-mail care service to families in need of emotional and spiritual support;
Educating the public on albinism in community centers, schools and other educational institutions;
Fund-raising for visual and other health needs related to albinism;
Supporting other organizations and groups that focus on genetic/hereditary conditions in their fund-raising and educational acitivites. |
