Savannah is a foundation mare adopted out of the wild in 1993 as a weanling.  A red dun with excellent conformation and a wonderful disposition, she is from the Riddle range.  Savannah is trained for both riding and driving and is a proven producer of excellent quality Kiger foals.   Her foals are eligible for multiple registries.  Savannah's 2001 filly by Ki is a full sister to "Kody", listed on the for sale page.  See Savannah's foals here.

Riddle's Little Arrow - "Riddle"

Riddle is also a foundation mare from the Riddle range that was adopted as a weanling in the 1993 lottery.  Riddle has been used as a riding horse in the past, and will be learning to drive in 2002.   She is a striking grulla and a proven producer of high quality Kiger foals.   Riddle was bred to Ki for a 2002 foal.  (NOTE: This foal has been sold in eutro)  See Riddle's foals here.

Shawave War Chant - "Mariah"

A beautiful dun mare with a sweet nature who was adopted in 1995 at the age of 5 from the Shawave HMA in Nevada.  Mariah is registered in the Foundation section of the Sorraia Mustang Studbook. She crosses well with Ki and has had 5 half Kiger colts.  All exhibit strong dun factor and are extremely personable.   See Mariah's foals here.

Kiger Eclipse - "Eclipse"

Eclipse is on loan to Horse Springs Kiger Ranch from Linda Meeh of West Linn, Or.  
Eclipse is a 1996 foundation grulla mare from the Kiger range, and is registered in the Foundation section of the Sorraia Stud Book.  She was adopted while still at her mother's side.   Eclipse displays strong striping on her legs and a thick dorsal stripe.  She is a seasoned trail horse with a level head and easy going personality.  Eclipse's first foal is a lovely grulla filly foaled in April of 2002. Rosalita is the newest foundation filly to join the herd.  She was adopted as a weanling in 1999 and is from the Riddle range.  Rosalita is still  learning the basics and will not be bred until she is fully grown.  This dun filly has a calm disposition and is extremely curious.  Rosalita will begin her saddle training this summer before she assumes broodmare duties in 2003.
