Here's a shot of the 9 inch rearend after 35 years of service.  I used the heavy duty floor jack to support it while up on stands.
This is the undercarriage when I began.  The plan is to touch up some of the surface rust on the front floorpans and coat with Corroless Rust inhibitive primer.  You can see in this shot a small area that has been filled with Bondo just above the jackstand. 
Well, you can tell I got a little carried away when I removed the suspension.  I decided to repaint the front crossmember and framwork.  Now if I could only figure out how to remove the headlight bucket, I'd redo it also.
Here's a shot of the front crossmember.  You can see the original factory greasemarkings.  Looks like
DKK.  Hmmm, could that stand for K-code?
This is what it looked like after a fresh repaint.  Not bad.
