My Music Videos

I recently began the process of converting old music videos I did many years ago from VHS to digital. Below are the ones I've completed so far. (All are streamable Quicktime Movies.) CLICK ON TITLE TO VIEW MOVIE.

 The Story Behind The Videos...

By 1986, the Tickets had long since broken up but George and I still remained great friends. We both had continued pursuing our music independently and one day George asked me if I'd be interested in getting together to video tape ourselves doing some of our songs. (His brother had loaned him a video camera for one weekend night.) I thought it sounded like a cool idea so we bought a couple of six packs and went down to my studio in Manhattan to "go Hollywood." We had brought along cassette tapes of some of our songs and played them on a boom box as we lip - synched the vocals. It was a riot! We had little time or patience for rehearsals and never did more than two takes of any of the songs. My performance in "Annie" is pretty straight forward (and yeah, pretty cheesy) but you may notice my head tilt down during the guitar solo in the middle: this was because I was cracking up over the missed note I'd played "live" and really I was losing it just over the absurdity of the whole thing. "Street Stuff" was more prepared - in fact I had created a slide show of some shots I'd taken of the model you see in the video, sort of synched to the lyrics of the song. There are a few more videos from that long, drunk night (we were at the studio from 6 PM to 4 AM the next day!) As soon as I get them digitized, etc. I'll add them here. We had a great time doing these things and I hope you enjoy them!
