The Slaughter Family of Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire

Descendants of this family become the Slaughter family of Cheneys Court in Bishops Frome. Later descendants include a private secretary to the Pope at the Vatican, some very staunch Catholic families and Royalists in the English Civil War, a number of Church of England ministers, as well as my family through Mary Homes, the mother to Harvey Woodyatt.
