The Descendants of Richard and Alice Homes of Bishops Frome

Richard Homes left a will proven in 1616 and was of Bishops Frome. He is the earliest known progenitor of this family at this time. The Homes family intermarried with the Freeman family and had close ties with them. John Homes of The Townsend in Stretton Grandison was a noted person with many abilities as shown by the poem written upon his death which is included.
