Descendants of Thomas Dirry and Ann Hawfield

There are many Derry families in Staffordshire, but in Herefordshire all Derry families seem to be descended from a common branch of the family, of whom the earliest couple is Thomas Dirry and Ann Hawfield. The Derry family were mainly farmers in the area of Much Cowarne, Pencombe, Stoke Lacy, and elsewhere in that general area during most of the 1700's and 1800's. This is an attempt to catalog the Derry and associated families of Herefordshire. Data were updated 8 July 2009.
