There are an increasing number of articles appearing in the mainstream press these days, about our 'place' in society. When I say 'mainstream' press, I am referring to media that does not target a GLBTI audience. I thought it might be interesting to put some of these articles on this site for other people to read some of the issues facing gay men and lesbians around the globe.

Many of the articles highlight issues facing GLBTI people, which have been politicised in order to polarise and divide the voting public. Or, the articles represent the hurdles many of us have to jump in order to live our lives.

Others are positive, supportive articles. Unfortunately these seem few and far between, highlighting the gap that exists between our reality and complete acceptance.
