As part of the 1989 pace-setting class of country music, Travis Tritt was certainly the valedictorian. He quickly earned the reputation as a country singer with his heart in rock and roll. Music Row quickly noticed he didn’t conform to the behatted legions of new male singers. The lack of wearing a hat didn’t hinder his ability to release country classics however By 1995, he accumulated enough hits to release a collection of his greatest hits. Travis still continues to create country standards while enjoying fatherhood with his two young children and wife.

Travis's newest album, Down the Road I Go, was released in November 2000.
