| Topping the Billboard charts as top country male vocalist is not Tim’s only accomplishment during the past year He has the honor of adding ACM top male vocalist to his resume in 1999 and 2000 and CMA top male vocalist in 1999. His latest album “A Place in the Sun” debuted at number one on Billboard’s chart as well. Music wasn’t always the career path that Tim pursued. Starting out as a law student at Northeastern Louisiana University, Tim quickly found that wasn’t where his heart was. Gradually music eclipsed his academics and in 1989 he moved to Nashville to go after his dream. Two years later Tim was signed to Curb records. Tim’s album “Not a Moment too Soon” launched Tim to the top of the chart while touring with country sensation Faith Hill. With Faith as his partner in life as well as on stage and their two daughters, Tim’s heart has reached it’s place in the sun. And for a young man from Start, Louisiana, he has a long, long way before he sees in the finish line. |
