| Yami is the Spirit of the Puzzle. He duels, and makes friends and evil faces when he's happy. I'm not sure about his past, but I know that he was a pharaoh (NO DUH) and that he was in some way related to High Priest Seto. He lives in his little maze thingy in the puzzle, right across from Yugi, whose room is a total disaster... Wouldn't want to be Shaadi picking my way across that floor... But Yami isn't really capable of some emotions, like love. Tea has a crush on Yami. Yugi has a crush on Tea. Yami likes dueling. So, you see, the love triangle doesn't exactly work. Yami has these little shoots of hair that Yugi doesn't. And different eyes. Yami is supposedly 3,000 years old (2,000? 5,000? I can't remember) and admits this fact to Mokuba and Kaiba one day in a helicopter (Kaiba doesn't believe him, if I can remember right). A lot of people just can't seem to notice that every time Yugi starts to duel, he grows extra hair and gets new clothes and a deeper voice... Hmmmm. But about the dueling thing... he pretty much never loses. So if he starts dueling someone important, you naturally should suspect that he'd win. But lately in the series more people are getting killed off (uh... I mean, sent away) and so you don't know what to suspect anymore... There's always little surprises at the end of duels and sometimes I'm not quite sure how it worked but whatever, I'm not writing the episodes. |
