May 28, 2001 -

It's Memorial Day and hubby and I are getting ready to visit his Dad and stepmother.  It will be a nice visit I am sure.  Tomorrow is supposed to be my third weigh-in, but I will have to sqeeze it in between appointments.  I am booked almost solid tomorrow.  I will have to plan ahead so I don't get caught starving to death and go off plan.  I am happy to report that I have been 100% on plan since I started WW on May 8, 2001.  I know that is not a long time yet but I can't remember ever sticking to any weight loss related program completely without cheating for more than a week EVER.  So this is a big accomplishment for me.  I will update again after my weigh in this week.

May 30, 2001 -

Had my third weigh in yesterday and I was down another 1.4 pounds for a total loss of 10 pounds since May 8, 2001.  I am glad that I am off to a good start but want to work harder eat more fruits and vegetables and all of the water that I should.   Hopefully I will have more news to report soon.

June 6, 2001 -

Had a great weigh in yesterday.  I was down 4.4 pounds for a total loss of 14.4 pounds since May 8, 2001.  I am pleased with how the program is working for me.  I really have found it easy to stay with on most days.  I still need to make sure I am getting in all of my fruits and vegetables and milk.  I have been doing pretty good with water, but still need help with fruits and veggies.  I also want to begin to exercise more,  I am noticing that the fat on my body is less firm and starting to feel squishier (for lack of a better word).  I want to make sure that as I lose the weight I tone up the muscles so I don't have hanging skin.  I also started a new job this week and it has been kind of hectic around our house.  I haven't worked in about three years so getting used to a work schedule takes some getting used to.  I am hoping to keep on pace and get my star for losing 15 pounds next week.

June 13, 2001 -

Had a good weigh in. I was down 1.6 pounds for a total of 16 pouds and my third five pound reward.  It was a hectic week getting used to work and such. The job is going ok but I don't think I want to stay long so I am looking for something with a little more computer work in it.  I have been trying to do toning excercised but haven't done all that I need to.  I am also struggling with drinking enough water this week.  I have slipped back into my bad habit of too much diet soda.  I will try to drink more this next week.

July 4, 2001 -

Happy Independence Day!  I haven't written in awhile because it has been crazy here.  Our church closed on the 24th of June and so now we have joined a new church until my husband gets called to Pastor again.  In the meantime we are working on a Vacation Bible School program for the end of this month.  We also spent a week at a Bible camp with about 75 kids.  It was a good time but very difficult to stay OP.  I was one of three cooks for Bible camp this year and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen on my feet.  When it finally was time to rest a little I ate whatever was put before me instead of worrying about staying OP.  Fortunately this only happens once a year. WHEW! I am beat!  It took a couple of days to get totally back on track but now I am.  At my weigh in yesterday I had only lost 0.2 pounds in two weeks.  I am back on track now, though, and at least I did not have a gain.   Hope everyone has a great fourth of July.

July 11, 2001 -

Had a pretty good week this week and got back on track.  In my weigh in today I lost two more pounds for a total of 20.2 pounds lost.  I am only a few pounds away from my 10%.  I am also happy that I now have less than 100 pounds to lose.  I am now 99.4 pounds away from my goal of 140.  It seems like this is taking a long time and will continue to, but I also know that I did not get here overnight and it will take quite some time to get it all off.  I am thankful that I have such a great husband that cheers for me along the way.
