**UPDATE** I built a muscle motor for the Chevelle so she runs as good as she looks.

454 + .030, Keith Black Pistons, Total Seal Rings, 290 closed chamber heads with 2.19/1.88 valves, ported, Ultradyne 288/296F10 Solid cam, Harland Sharp rocker arms, Performer RPM intake, Holley 950HP, Eagle H Beam rods, Forged Steel crank, and other goodies. She runs really strong. The one time out to the track gave me a 12.17@114.5 with a tight converter that has been replaced!
Here is my car.  It is a 1970 Cheverolet Chevelle Malibu.  It is a high options car with power stearing, air conditioning, power disk brakes, heavy duty 12 bolt rear end with 2.73 ratio, and it had a vinal top.  It came stock with a 300hp 350ci engine and a turbo 350 trans.  Dad and myself rebuilt the car from top to bottom together with very little work done out.  The only things that were done out was the paint and body, seat covers and exhaust.
This photo shows the old stance of the car.  The front and rear suspension was rebuilt using poly bushings.  I put a stock sway bar from a 1970 Cutlass in the back, also using the lower contlol arms.  The rear springs are stock type variable rate springs for a SS454 Chevelle. and in the front I cut one full coil off of new replacements. This is with the small block, with the BB it sat too low, so I changed them with replacement BB springs. The rear tires are 275/60R15 on 15X8 chrome ralleys with 3.5in backspacing and the fronts are 15X5 with P186 tires.with knockoffs.
This one shows the inside of my car.  It has an Auto Meter tac. and 3 guage cluster under the dash.  Since this photo was taked I have reinstalled the origional AM push button radio and installed a Jenson CD player under the dash.  Looks really slick. I also replaced the guage set with a set of Auto Meter guages that I can see.  The steering wheel is off of a Olds and was on the car when we got it. The steering collum is from a 1970 El Camino.  When I got the car it had no interior.  All that was there was a pair of nasty buckets and a little bit of carpet.  The car was also full of old parts and trash. The only remaining parts are the guages and stearing wheel.
I installed a steel raised cowl induction hood without a flap.  As well as clear front marker lenses.  I also put small purple bullet lights that double as license plate bolts.  It just adds a little touch to it.  We also blacked out the grill and Removed all the emblems.
