Well DRATS! I've got Kidney Failure!
~~ Heads-Up all my Diabetic Friends ~~
I've been diabetic since 1994 and
was finally put on insulin on June 22, 2006. At that time tests discovered
that my kidneys were beginning to fail. They are not filtering the poison out of my body as they should.
Once they begin to fail there is no going back to normal. There is already a level of kidney failure which will eventually lead to kidney dialysis.
On my next page, I've listed a siimple 1600 Calorie Diabetic Diet,
the diet recommended by the ADA and the medical profession. Then I've shown the Diabetic Renal Carbohydrate
Dietthat is recommended by kidney specialists. This is what I wat now.
Until you can read this information and all that
you can get from your doctors and books, my diabetic friends, the best thing I can possibly tell you is to keep your blood sugar and blood pressure normal, and STAY ON YOUR DIET!
These simple measures could keep you out of kidney disease/failure failure and eventual dialysis. I'll be adding more
information to the following pages as often as I can, so please check back..
