Our Mares
  Blessed Are The Broodmares!
Oh how I love that expression! Where would we be without our Broodmares? In order to have a good breeding program, you have to have good solid conformation in your  broodmares. Hopefully all of my mares fit this description.
Millies Honey Bun,  38"
(Drummer Boy X Rosie)
Honey, my first broodmare, she is now 20 years old and still producing great foals.
I only breed her to my Riftswood Rembrandt, as I like what they produce and
its always a surprise when its born as she never has the same color twice.
She is a great old mare and my buddy.I retired Honey this year 2008.
Picture taken Aug. 26, 2008.
Lil Amego's Moca,  33.25"
(Marmaduke X Miss Poco Lee)
Mokie is a very sweet little mare and wants
to be with you all the time. I use her for my model when making Tack,
as you can do anything with her. Her foals are all very friendly right
from birth and want to be scratched and loved on.
Bred to Remi for a 2009 foal

Carmacs Clarie For Sure Honey, 36"
(Riftswood Rembrandt X Millies Honey Bun)
Peanut is my first foal from Honey and my
very first Miniature foal. She is very special to me, as I named her after my mom, who had always wanted minis, but passed away before Peanut was born on her  birthday. Peanut is a silver bay pinto.
Bred to Tracy for a 2009 foal
Carmacs Lil Blue Eyed Darlin,  34"
(Riftswood Diamond Jim X Lil Amego's Willow)
As her name suggests Blue Eyes has 2 beautiful blue eyes. She is the first foal from my sweet Willow, who was killed by a pack of wolves in Jan.07. Blue eyes
is a sweet little mare and always has the nicest disposition foals. She is
black/white and so far has only had black/white foals.
Bred to Remi  for a 2009 foal
Lil Paint Summertime, 34.25"
(Lil Paint Little Patches X Canada West Summer Gold)
Summer is a silver bay mare, with a very sweet disposition. This little mare came to me from Lil Paint Ranch in Northern Alberta, as a yearling. She had her first foal in 2007 and a very tiny petite little fellow he was. She was a very good mom.

Summer is bred to Hooty for a 2009 foal.
Knotty Pines Moonlight Melody,  35"
(Riftswood Rembrandt X Millies Honey Bun)
What a surprise I got when Melody was born,  I was not expecting a
black/white foal from Remi and Honey, and for it to be a filly too, was
a real bonus. She has a nice disposition and a very nice build.
