Simple PhotoCell Timing System
(S.P.T.S.)

VARIATIONS OF LIGHTS, FLAGGERS AND SIGNALLERS

The S.P.T.S. Timing and scoring system has a number of optional features which are included in all software but are not essential to the running of the system. They are "nice to have" features that require a little extra work and some ingenuity, but which are highly effective and add to the realism of slotting.

Some of the solutions are really amazing, so I have started a collections of others peoples work... enjoy and dont be afraid to try these on your track.

The five start lights at Le Circuit de Marty-Cours just seconds before they go off to start the race. The lights are built into the light gantry which uses a single bulb to illuminate the photocells used in the timing. Great track details blend in the lights and gantry to the rest of the scenery.

"Gilbert Drapeau", Le Commissaire de Course pour le Circuit de Marty-Cours.
"Gilbert" is fully automated and spins/waves his chequered flag just before the winning car crosses the finish line....
all driven by S.P.T.S. software (ca c'est extraordinaire!).

Pit signallers at Marty-Cours.
The LED's automatically tell you who is fastest or who needs fuel
(depending on which S.P.T.S. program you are running).
